  • MENT, short for methylnortestosterone (acetate), is a synthetic anabolic steroid derived from nandrolone. This agent is also called trestolone acetate, although not as commonly. The trivial name methylnortestosterone is vague, and can also be applied to other steroids. In this case the "methyl" in the name, which is commonly associated with (-17 alpha alkylated androgens like methyltestosterone, methandrostenolone, or oxymetholone, is referring to a modification at (-7. Trestolone Acetate, Ment, is a synthetic androgen that is ten times as potent as testosterone, is not 5-alpha reduced to DHT, but inhibits gonadotrophin release, suppresses testosterone and sperm production.

MENT provides adequate replacement therapy for most androgen-dependant functions, has a faster metabolic clearance rate than testosterone and,it does not bind to sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG)in contrast to testosterone. MENT remains capable of aromatization preserving the benefits estrogen imparts on male physiology.

Trestolone Acetate Ment has an anabolic effect that was ten times higher than testosterone, also having a much lower effect on the prostate.
